The Rangers reinstated Seager from the 10-day injured list Friday.
Seager landed on the IL July 1 and will return to action exactly 30 days later after being activated Friday. The 32-year-old has slashed a career-low .182/.292/.374 with 10 home runs and 25 RBI in 219 plate appearances this campaign. Texas optioned Josh Smith to Triple-A to make room for Seager on the active roster.
