Jansen went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Orioles.
After hitting a single and a double in his first two at-bats, Jansen belted a 409-foot homer in the seventh inning to complete the hat trick and give Texas a 7-3 lead. The 30-year-old backstop had been making his return to the starting lineup after sitting out the previous two contests in favor of Kyle Higashioka, but Jansen still figures to be the preferred option behind the plate.
