Hamilton (knee) underwent arthroscopic surgery Monday to repair the meniscus in his left knee, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
As expected, the veteran outfielder had another procedure performed on his knee to try to right the ship and get him back into playing shape. The current timetable has Hamilton rehabbing for six weeks prior to running again, so it seems that any hopes of playing on Opening Day are out of the question. A firmer return date should come forth as he recovers from this operation.
