Hamilton (knee) recently underwent an MRI that revealed no structural damage, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Hamilton tweaked his surgically-repaired knee this past Tuesday, and flew to Houston to consult with his surgeon, but it appears to be in OK shape. The veteran outfielder, who was signed to a minor league deal this offseason, will scale back his baseball activities for a few days before attempting to give it a go once more. According to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News, that return could come as early as next week following a platelet-rich plasma injection to the knee.
