Hamilton (knee) will stay in Houston for post-op rehab, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Hamilton underwent arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus Monday and the current timetable has him rehabbing for six weeks before running again. The 35-year-old tweaked his left knee running the bases at the beginning of spring camp, a devastating blow for the five-time All-Star. Hamilton will be out of action for most of the spring, but could continue his comeback attempt sometime in April.
