Perez (10-10) allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts over six innings in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.
Perez continues to pitch to contact and eat innings, just what the Rangers and their fantastic offense need him to do. While he's having an unimpressive season (4.25 ERA, 90:69 K:BB), Perez has gone at least five innings in all but one of his 29 starts, and that has been enough to get him to double-digit wins thanks to his excellent supporting cast.
