Goody was designated for assignment by the Rangers on Thursday.
Goody had a rough outing Wednesday as he allowed three runs on three hits over one-third of an inning. He'll be removed from the 40-man roster after posting a 9.00 ERA over 17 appearances in 2020. Andrew Romine's contract was selected in a corresponding move.
