Tropeano agreed to a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Wednesday.
Tropeano appeared in five big-league games in 2021 between the Mets and Giants but spent most of the year at Triple-A, where he had a 3.69 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 51:24 K:BB over 46.1 innings. The right-hander will likely provide organization depth for the rotation in 2022.
