Rays send Drew Vettleson to Nats

Rays outfielder Drew Vettleson has been traded to the Nationals as part of the Jose Lobaton deal.

Felipe Rivero will also join Vettleson and Lobaton in the deal. Vettleson is a switch-hitting outfielder who was taken with the 42nd pick of the 2010 draft. He hit .274/.331/.388 in 467 at-bats last season. Nathan Karns will head to Tampa Bay to complete the deal.
