Diaz is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Diaz had started the last three games, although he's seen his playing time cut into a bit the last couple weeks as the Rays get a look at some younger players. Jonathan Aranda will start at first base Wednesday, and Austin Shenton will serve as the Rays' designated hitter.
