Wong is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
For the second day in a row, Wong will give way to Reese McGuire behind the dish. With McGuire sporting a .957 OPS over his past six games, the Red Sox seem to be making a concerted effort to keep him involved, even though Wong has been the better performer at the plate over the balance of the season.
