Hernandez (hip) could return from the injured list when first eligible Saturday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
Hernandez hit the injured list Wednesday with a strained right hip flexor, but his injury apparently isn't too serious. He'd posted a .789 OPS in his last 16 games before the injury, so the Red Sox will be excited to get him back.
