Brebbia signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Brebbia entered free agency after being DFA'd by Atlanta on Monday, and he'll now give the Red Sox some organizational bullpen depth at Triple-A Worcester to close out the season. The 35-year-old righty won't be eligible to pitch in the postseason.
