Pivetta (rest) is scheduled to make his next start Thursday in Baltimore, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Pivetta has stayed healthy since returning from a month-long stay on the injured list May 8, but the Red Sox opted to skip his turn in the rotation this past week to provide him with some extra rest after he had delivered a 7.71 ERA and 1.43 WHIP over his last three starts. After having made his last start Aug. 4, Pivetta will be taking the hill on 10 days' rest when he returns to the mound Thursday.
