The Red Sox acquired Reyes from the Athletics on Friday in exchange for cash considerations.
The 29-year-old has slashed .257/.385/.351 with one home run and three stolen bases at the Triple-A level this season. Reyes is capable of playing all over the diamond and will give the Red Sox some utility depth at Triple-A Worcester.
