Reyes will start at shortstop and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Rangers.
The righty-hitting Reyes will stick in the lineup against a lefty (Jordan Montgomery), but he had sat out on each of the last three occasions in which the Red Sox faced off against right-handed pitching. The Red Sox have seemingly moved Reyes into a utility role while Luis Urias has been prioritized at second base of late.
