Gonzalez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Gonzalez will stay put in the dugout Saturday following the Red Sox's postseason-clinching victory Friday. Nick Sogard will fill in as Boston's second baseman and bat ninth.
