Casas went 1-for-5 with a run scored in Friday's 12-10 win over the Orioles.
After being out since April 20 due to a rib injury, the first baseman collected a single during his second at-bat. Casas was promptly driven home five pitches later via a 400-foot blast by Rafael Devers. With the Red Sox designating Dominic Smith for assignment Friday, Casas should play every day at first base and hit in the heart of the Boston order.
