Bogaerts went 3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in Friday's 8-7 victory over the Blue Jays.
After starting the new season in an 0-for-9 funk, Bogaerts broke out with his first three hits of the season. His slow start notwithstanding, the standout shortstop is fully expected to thrive in the three-hole this season, and build on his .320/.355./.421 line from 2015.
