The Red Sox claimed Ramirez off waivers on Sunday, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.
The right-hander was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Thursday and has now found a new home with the Red Sox. Ramirez has made 37 appearances between Dodgers, Mets and Orioles this season, but he's struggled to a career-worst 5.98 ERA over 43.2 innings.
