Lodolo (finger) threw 50 pitches over three simulated innings of live batting practice Friday, MLB.com reports.
Lodolo, who is returning from a recurring blister, felt good about the new grip he's using on his breaking ball. The left-hander may need a rehab start before returning to the Reds' rotation; however, the club hasn't confirmed plans.
