Steer recently underwent successful surgery on his right wrist, Mike Petraglia of CLNS Media reports.
Steer suffered a partial tear of the tendon sheath in his right wrist in late July, and despite his best efforts to rehab the injury, he ended up sitting out the rest of the season. He's now gone under the knife to address the issue and is expected to be fully recovered by the time spring training begins.
