Stamets will be a part of the Rockies' 60-man summer camp.
The 28-year-old journeyman infielder was in camp on a minor-league deal. He has spent the last few seasons languishing at Triple-A in the Indians' organization, finally getting a brief taste of the majors in 2019 and hitting .049 with a 50 percent strikeout rate in 48 plate appearances.
