Romano struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-2 victory over the Orioles.
Romano was handed a two-run advantage and had no trouble protecting it, striking out Colton Cowser and Blaze Alexander before getting Holliday to fly out to finish the game. The right-hander needed just 17 pitches (11 strikes) to retire the side in order and collected his 14th save of the season. Romano owns a 4.50 ERA while serving as Colorado's primary option in the ninth inning.
