The Rockies placed Bryant on the 10-day injured list Monday due to a back strain, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Bryant will head to the IL for a third time this season, and for the second time on account of a back injury. Since returning from his last stint on the IL on July 23 due to a left oblique strain, Bryant has slashed .277/.352/.340 with five RBI and a 31.5 percent strikeout rate across 53 plate appearances. With Bryant on the shelf, the Rockies recalled outfielder Jordan Beck from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move.
