McMahon wasn't available for Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers due to lower-leg stiffness, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

McMahon's absence from the lineup in the series finale was initially believed to be a routine maintenance day, but acting manager Mike Redmond indicated afterward that the infielder was dealing with an injury. The Rockies will presumably re-evaluate McMahon ahead of Monday's game against the Angels, and a stint on the injured list could be in the forecast if the 26-year-old's condition hasn't improved in a meaningful way.
