McMahon is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers.

McMahon has struggled this month outside of a two-homer game Sunday, so manager Bud Black decided to hold him out Friday night. With McMahon out, Pat Valaika will cover second base, and Daniel Murphy will get the start at first.
