Schebler signed with the Rockies as a non-roster invitee Saturday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Any hitter who earns regular playing time at Coors Field is worth a look, though Schebler doesn't look like a favorite to do so. While he was a capable hitter early in his career, he's received just 130 major-league plate appearances over the last three seasons and has hit a miserable .129/.223/.224 in those opportunities.
