Red Sox pitcher Rubby De La Rosa entered Thursday's start at Toronto with a 2.64 ERA in seven major-league starts, but he was unable to keep it going. The Blue Jays knocked him around for nine hits and seven runs (six earned) in four innings, though they also benefitted from shoddy defense.
De La Rosa walked two batters and struck out one in what was easily his worst start this year. He'll get another crack at Toronto on Tuesday at Fenway Park.
