Mariners pitcher Taijuan Walker took a hard-luck loss Wednesday, allowing one earned run on four hits and one walk in eight innings while striking out six to pitch a complete game in his team's 1-0 defeat against the Blue Jays.

Walker (2-3) needed just 99 pitches to toss his complete game. He appeared to be in line for a no-decision before the Blue Jays were able to push a run across in the bottom of the eighth inning. Walker ends the year with a 2.61 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 34:18 K:BB ratio in 38 innings.
