Keith is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
With southpaw Carlos Rodon on the hill for the Yankees, the left-handed-hitting Keith will retreat to the bench. Andy Ibanez will replace Keith in the starting nine, manning third base and batting sixth.
