The Twins reassigned Sanchez to minor-league camp Sunday.
Sanchez failed to win a spot on the Opening Day roster after he re-signed with the organization over the winter on a minor-league deal that included an invitation to MLB spring training. The right-hander struggled mightily in 2022 with a 6.60 ERA across 15 appearances with Minnesota and Washington. The 30-year-old right-hander looks to be little more than an organizational depth arm at this stage of his career.
