Correa (plantar fasciitis) will be activated from the injured list before Saturday's game, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Correa has been taking live batting practice against minor-league pitchers and working in the field the past few days. He's been sidelined since the All-Star break due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He'll likely return to starting at shortstop, but he may be rusty at the plate from his extended time off. However, it's a good sign for the Twins, who could use a healthy Correa to ensure they make the playoffs.
