Margot was diagnosed with a mild right adductor strain Monday, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
The diagnosis is probably a best-case scenario, but a timetable for Margot's return won't be available at least until he's re-evaluated later this week after being shut down from the baseball activities for 5-to-7 days. Margot was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday and is eligible for activation Sept. 11.
