Lewis was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right knee Sunday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Manager Rocco Baldelli said Sunday that Lewis will "probably" require a trip to the injured list due to his knee issue, but it's encouraging that he's been diagnosed with a bone bruise rather than structural damage. The 22-year-old will be further evaluated by the team in the coming days once the swelling in his knee subsides.
