Jeffers opened the scoring in the contest with a solo shot to left field in the second inning. He added a single in the eighth, which he followed with a stolen base before coming around to score on a Willi Castro single. Jeffers is tied for fifth among big-league catchers this season with 16 homers and ranks eighth with 51 RBI. Both are career-high marks.
