Beckham's contract was purchased from Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
The 32-year-old journeyman infielder hit .413/.483/.579 with five home runs in 33 games at Triple-A. Miguel Sano and Max Kepler each landed on the 10-day injured list, so Beckham was an emergency depth add for Minnesota.
