White signed a minor-league contract with Minnesota on Monday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.
White showed promise with an .888 OPS in 66 games for the Astros in 2018, but he followed that up with a .612 OPS in 83 games the next year and hasn't returned to the majors since. Now 32 years old and coming off a year in which he hit a modest .230/.357/.412 at the Triple-A level, he has an outside shot at best of breaking camp with the team.
