Cannon (4-10) allowed four runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over 6.2 innings to earn the win over the Angels on Monday.
Cannon gave up solo home runs to Eric Wagaman and Charles Leblanc, and the Angels scraped together two more runs in the seventh to chase Cannon from the game. While the rookie right-hander has allowed at least three runs in six of his last eight starts, he's picked up three wins in that span as one of the White Sox's more effective starters. He's at a 4.61 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 81:36 K:BB through 113.1 innings over 21 appearances (19 starts) this season. He's projected to make his next start at San Diego.
