Peters is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.
After appearing in the All-Star Game two weeks ago, Peters has gotten off to a sluggish start in the second half. Through the White Sox's first nine games following the break, Peters has gone just 4-for-30 with one extra-base hit (a double). The left-handed-hitting outfielder will get the night off while the Yankees send southpaw Max Fried to the hill.
