The Brewers extended Adames a one-year, $21.05 million qualifying offer Monday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

As expected. Adames will undoubtedly decline the offer, as he's set to sign a lucrative, long-term contract in free agency this winter. Assuming that contract doesn't come from Milwaukee, the Brewers will receive a draft pick as compensation.
