Wells is out of the lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Phillies.

Despite launching the furthest home run of his career Saturday, Wells will ride the pine Sunday with the Phillies trotting out left-hander Christopher Sanchez. Ali Sanchez will be behind the plate and bat ninth for the Yankees.
