Jones (illness) is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Twins.
Jones was dealing with food poisoning earlier in the week and will miss a second straight start despite Thursday's off day. With Trent Grisham (hamstring) back from the injured list, it could be more difficult for Jones to find regular playing time. The rookie has slashed .233/.317/.370 with two homers, seven RBI, six runs scored, one stolen base and a 9:34 BB:K across 82 plate appearances at the big-league level this season.
