The Yankees optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
After appearing in both games during Saturday's doubleheader against Boston, the Yankees optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A. Since being called up Aug. 4, the 28-year-old yielded just two earned runs over 11.1 innings out of the bullpen for New York. The Yankees promoted Luis Gil from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to replace De Los Santos on the active roster.
