    The White Sox have released outfielder Tony Campana on Thursday, according to MILB.com. Campana signed a minor-league contract with the club in the offseason, but tore his ACL while training. He's expected to miss the entire season while he recovers. The 28-year-old hit .187 over 75 at-bats last year.

  • The White Sox announced Tuesday outfielder Tony Campana suffered a torn ACL during a recent training session and is expected to miss the 2015 season. Campana was headed to spring training on a minor-league deal. The 28-year-old Campana has played for the Cubs, Diamondbacks and Angels over four MLB seasons. He has a career .249/.296/.288/.583 slash line. He totaled a career-best 30 stolen bases in 2012 with the Cubs.
