The Brewers released Quinn on Tuesday. After signing a minor-league contract with the Brewers in late May, Quinn failed to produce in Triple-A. He slashed just .121/.275/.152 across 41 plate appearances with Nashville and will now look to sign with his third organization this season.

He's hitless so far in two games with Triple-A Nashville but offers the Brewers some veteran depth capable of playing all three outfield spots.

Quinn was assigned to minor-league camp on Saturday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports. Quinn recorded an .875 OPS in 16 games this spring, though that came with a 38.9 percent strikeout rate. As a non-roster invitee, he always had an uphill battle in front of him, but he could still get a chance whenever the Guardians need another outfielder.
