  • Adam Kolarek: Parts ways with Halos
    By RotoWire

The Angels released Kolarek on Tuesday. After making five appearances at the big-league level between the Dodgers and Mets in 2023, Kolarek caught on with the Angels on a minor-league deal over the winter. He didn't receive a call to the big leagues during his time with the organization this season before being cut loose. Over his 31 appearances out of the bullpen at Triple-A Salt Lake in 2024, the 35-year-old lefty logged a 6.97 ERA, 1.97 WHIP and 33:18 K:BB over 31 innings.

  • The Angels sent Kolarek outright to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports. Kolarek signed a major-league deal with the Angels in November, but he'll now be relegated to the minors to make room for Zach Plesac, whose signing became official Saturday. Kolarek logged a 3.80 ERA and 1.55 WHIP through 42.2 minor-league frames last season.

  • Angels' Adam Kolarek: Signs with Halos
    By RotoWire

Kolarek signed a one-year, $900,000 contract with the Angels on Sunday. Kolarek has had limited time in the majors over the past four seasons, and he made just five relief appearances between the Dodgers and Mets last year. He tossed six scoreless innings across those outings and was relatively effective in the minors, posting a 3.80 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 42.2 innings across 46 relief appearances with Triple-A clubs. Kolarek will join the Angels on a major-league deal ahead of the 2023 campaign but could lose his spot in the big-league bullpen if he struggles at some point.

  • Braves' Adam Kolarek: Signs with Atlanta
    By RotoWire

Kolarek signed a minor-league deal with Atlanta on Thursday. Kolarek has had brief stints with both the Dodgers and Mets this season, though he's pitched only six innings in the big leagues. He'll likely begin his tenure with Atlanta at Triple-A Gwinnett, though he could contribute out of the major-league bullpen at some point prior to the close of the regular season.

  • Adam Kolarek: Hits open market
    By RotoWire

Kolarek elected free agency Tuesday. Kolarek cleared waivers after the Mets designated him for assignment over the weekend, but he'll pursue his options on the open market rather than reporting to Triple-A Syracuse. The left-handed reliever tossed 4.2 scoreless innings for the Mets prior to being DFA'd.
