    By RotoWire

Adleman signed a minor-league contract with the Reds on Friday. The 33-year-old had a 5.52 ERA over 122.1 innings for the Reds during the 2017 season, and he'll rejoin the organization in 2021. Adleman will report to the alternate training site after spending last season at Detroit's alternate site.

  • Tigers' Tim Adleman: Added to 60-man pool
    By RotoWire

Adleman will be a part of the Tigers' 60-man player pool this season. Adleman was not on the 40-man roster after signing a minor-league deal with the Tigers in November, but he'll be on the expanded MLB roster. The 32-year-old last pitched in the majors in 2017 with Cincinnati and will give the Tigers some pitching depth.

  • Adleman signed a minor-league contract with the Tigers on Thursday. The 31-year-old recorded a 3.23 ERA with a 1.10 WHIP over 117 minor-league innings last season. Adleman has experience pitching out of the rotation and the bullpen, but will likely only be an emergency option for the Tigers if injuries pile up in their pitching staff.

  • Adleman signed with the Reds on a minor-league deal and will report to their minor-league camp at spring training, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. Adleman spent 2018 pitching in Korea, but threw 122.1 innings with the Reds in 2017, posting a 5.52 ERA and 1.43 WHIP. He's there for Triple-A depth, and a rainy day option for the Reds in the event that a slew of injuries strike.

  • The Reds are expected to activate Scott Feldman (knee) from the 10-day disabled list and have him start Saturday's game against the Brewers, meaning that Adleman will likely head back to the bullpen in the coming days, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. Manager Bryan Price had previously dropped Adleman to the bullpen a week earlier amid a string of poor starts, with Asher Wojciechowski moving from a long-relief role to claim a rotation spot. However, after No. 5 starter Robert Stephenson (shoulder), who had been filling in for the injured Feldman, hit the disabled list over the weekend, Adleman was called upon to make a spot start Monday against the Padres. The right-hander did little Monday to bolster his claim for regaining a spot in the rotation, surrendering two runs on six hits and a walk while failing to escape the fifth inning.
