Chourio got the Brewers on the board with a three-run blast in the fifth and then came up big again in the 10th inning with a two-run triple that came off the bat at 110 MPH on a 103 MPH fastball from Justin Martinez. Chourio's knocked in eight runs over the last four games with four extra-base hits over that span. He's heating up significantly after a .194 batting average through his first nine games of the month. The 20-year-old NL rookie of the year candidate is slashing .276/.330/.478 with 21 homers, 77 RBI, 75 runs, 20 steals and a 37:104 BB:K in 522 plate appearances.

Chourio went 1-for-2 with three walks, a grand slam and an additional run scored during Monday's 9-3 win over the Cardinals. The rookie outfielder hit his second grand slam of the season Monday, clearing the bases in the sixth inning on a slider from Riley O'Brien. Chourio also reached thrice via walk, boosting his on base percentage to .328. Chourio is two home runs away from a 20/20 season, and he's belted three long balls in his last eight games.

Chourio (ankle) will start in left field and bat second Saturday against the Reds. Chourio tweaked his right ankle during the first game of Friday's doubleheader and then sat out of the nightcap, but the 20-year-old rookie appears to be feeling fine after a night of rest. He's tallied a base hit in eight of his last nine games while slashing .333/.381/.564 with a homer, nine RBI and two steals in that span.

Chourio came into Wednesday's game 0-for-10 over his last three games. He broke out in a big way as one of three Brewers with multiple hits in the contests. Chourio is batting .324 (24-for-74) in August with six extra-base hits and six steals over 18 contests for the month. He's up to a .274/.319/.442 slash line, 15 home runs, 18 steals, 55 RBI, 59 runs scored, 17 doubles and two triples through 421 plate appearances this season.

Chourio went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a double Thursday in a 6-4 win against the Dodgers. Chourio helped Milwaukee get off to a fast start with his two-run blast off Jack Flaherty in the first inning. The long ball was the rookie outfielder's 15th of the season, and with 16 thefts on the campaign, he's one of 14 big-leaguers to reach the 15-15 mark thus far. Chourio is also slashing a solid .274/.320/.441 with 53 RBI and 58 runs through 108 contests.
