• Zach Logue: Headed for free agency

  The Dodgers non-tendered Logue on Friday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports. Logue signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers in September just six days before being selected to make his season debut. After struggling in his two appearances for Los Angeles (four earned runs over two innings), he was sent back to Triple-A and will now look to latch on with another team in free agency. Given his 2.69 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in Triple-A last season, he should have no problem securing at least a minor-league deal.

  The Dodgers optioned Logue to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports. After allowing four earned runs over two innings across two appearances with the Dodgers, Logue will head back to Triple-A following a two-day MLB stint. Ben Casparius was recalled from Oklahoma City in a corresponding move to fill the opening in Los Angeles' bullpen.

  The Dodgers selected Logue's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Six days after signing a minor-league deal with the Dodgers, Logue will be called upon to help add depth to Los Angeles' bullpen while Michael Grove and Bobby Miller head back to the minors. The 28-year-old Logue has yet to appear in an MLB game this season, though he owns a 2.69 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through 93.2 frames in Triple-A.

  The Dodgers signed Logue to a minor-league contract Thursday, Triple-A Oklahoma City broadcaster Alex Freeman reports. Logue has been assigned to Oklahoma City and will start for them Thursday. The left-hander held a 6.88 ERA during his time in the majors from 2022-23 but has posted a 2.68 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 90.2 innings in 2024 at the Triple-A level.

Logue was jettisoned from Atlanta's 40-man roster Sunday, and he'll now have the opportunity to sign with another team after going unclaimed off waivers. The 28-year-old southpaw has posted a 2.68 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 90.2 innings in Triple-A this season and could be an attractive option for teams in need of organizational pitching depth.
